NATIONAL WELL-BEING
The Government is consulting on proposed measures of national well-being. Our response to the consultation drew attention to the fact that children are not included. Why not? Don’t children count as part of the nation? Click here for a summary of our response.

LYNDIE WRIGHT MBE
Congratulations to Lyndie Wright, co-founder of the Little Angel Puppet Theatre and winner of ACA’s 2011 J.M.Barrie Award, on the even more prestigious award of an MBE in the New Year’s Honours.
CONFERENCE 2012
Our 2012 conference - What Price Children’s Arts? - will explore the contribution made by the arts to children’s well-being in the context of recent reports by UNICEF and others on childhood and attitudes to children in the UK.
Speakers from the world of the arts will join with campaigners for children’s rights to discuss the issues, while ACA itself will put forward a programme for action.
The conference will take place on 19 June at the Unicorn Theatre, London – programme and booking information coming soon.
